COCAL 2026 represents a strategic milestone for Brazil and for the events industry in Latin America. Hosting this gathering in Ceará reinforces the role of events as a key driver for business, tourism, and economic and social development.
As the host country, Brazil reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the events sector as a key driver of development, innovation, and regional integration. As Secretary of Tourism for the State of Ceará, I extend a special invitation to all executives to join us at COCAL 2026, an event that will bring together all of Latin America in Fortaleza, at the Ceará Events Center, a beautiful venue and one of the finest event facilities in Brazil. I would also like to invite you to discover the natural beauty we have here in the State of Ceará.

WHAT IS COCAL
COCAL – the Federation of Congress and Related Event Organizing Entities of Latin America – was founded in 1985 and today brings together associations and companies from the MICE sector (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) across 16 Latin American countries.
Recognized as the leading representative organization of the events industry in the region, COCAL works to connect professionals, institutions, and governments with the purpose of strengthening business tourism, fostering innovation, and increasing the competitiveness of Latin American destinations on the global stage.
Over nearly four decades, COCAL has established itself as a space for integration, knowledge exchange, and opportunity generation, positioning Latin America as a strategic market for major international events.
PROGRAM
COCAL 2026 has been designed to promote knowledge sharing, strategic connections, and practical experiences. The congress will feature three days of official activities, plus an additional day dedicated to technical visits, allowing for full immersion in Ceará’s infrastructure and attractions.
